Sprouted Grain Breakfast Bowl
Perfect for breakfast! This was a bit of an experiment for me. I tried an overnight oats version and a traditional sprouted version. I used spelt berries , as they are my favorite, though this could be done with any whole grain. This is how the sprouted grains went down: the traditional method sprouted faster. The traditional sprouting method begins with rinsing and soaking your grains in water. Place grains and water in a jar. It is best to put a lid on and shake it as some

Sprout Tortillas
These tortillas are simple and delicious! If they are kept moist after they are cooked, they are soft enough to wrap lightly. They are also delicious as a platform for burritos. Mix the salt into the flour so as to avoid salty pockets. Add the wet ingredients into the dry bowl. The sprout tray is to show how much a 1/4 cup of sprouts is. It is so little, you do not taste them in the tortillas. This is about what the dough should look like. Once I had divided them (about 60g e

Broccoli Sprout Soup
When we had some extra broccoli sprouts, my brother offered to create this soup for me. The carrots, corn, and onion used here were all frozen from previous harvests. The peas were also frozen, but were from the store. The recipe calls for broth, which we used chicken broth here, but a vegetable broth would work just as well. Replacing with water could work if your desired spices are included as well. We ended up using a cup more broccoli sprouts than the recipe calls for her
